Easy DIY Dresser

DIY, Furniture, paint January 5, 2021

I may or may not have bought another piece of furniture, unbeknownst to The Husband of course (he may or may not have been too happy at the time, opps). However, I did have a plan in mind when I bought it, at the great price of only $50. Not bad for a piece of furniture that is made out of real wood and weighs over 200lbs.

With this amazing piece, I was looking for a fast way to get this project finished before we had The Husbands family over for Christmas. I didn’t have the time to sand, paint, and seal so I needed something new.

I decided to go with Sherwin Williams INFINITY ONE-COAT PERFECTION in the color Tempest Skies. Boy was impressed not only with how well the paint color turned out on the wood (that I did not sand) but how easy it is to clean and dust now that is sitting pretty in my living room.

I also didn’t need a fancy brush to paint…

I have a beautiful brown Buffet my husband bought me when we first got married I have been wanting to paint a nice blue or grey but was afraid I might mess it up but you know what after seeing what you did and the paint you used I am going to try. If I mess up at least I will learn something and can start over.

Living Life one day at a time

But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”

Joshua 24:15 Joshua 24:15

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

Colossians 3:23-24 Colossians 3:23-24

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Psalm 73:26 Psalm 73:26
