DIY Chair Cover

DIY September 20, 2012

Over the past two years, since Nolan has been able to walk our chairs at our table have gotten very dirty! This was actually my father-n-laws idea to cover them instead of buying new ones like I was ready to do. So he brought me over the things I needed so that I could fix my problem and only cost me $1.23 for the fabric to do so.
Materials you will need, Fabric of your choice, staple gun, scissors, and a screw driver!
First take you chair (see how stained it is… yuck)

Turn it upside down and take the screws out of the bottom, Nolan wanted to help me!
Take you fabric and lay the seat on top of the fabric.
Staple the fabric down and make sure that you make it as tight as you can.
Screw back together and you have your new chair cover!
Look how much better it looks! I am so excited…

Oh my! I am definitely going to have to try this! I never even thought about this. Our chairs have the same exact fabric, maybe a little darker and well, my daughter has stained them to no end either. This is a clever idea and definitely saves money!

I really want to cover my chairs but not only does it have the fabric on the seat part but also part of the back of the chair. One of these days I will figure out how to re-cover the back part. 🙂

Living Life one day at a time

But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”

Joshua 24:15 Joshua 24:15

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

Colossians 3:23-24 Colossians 3:23-24

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Psalm 73:26 Psalm 73:26
