Children’s Iron Man Halloween Face Painting.

DIY, parenting October 16, 2015

Nolan has been asking me for while now to paint his face so with Halloween coming up and him wanting to be Iron Man I decided to let the creative juices fly and paint his face. Let me just say that this experience was a fun one. Painting a little man’s face is nowhere the same as painting your own. Keep that in mind when you give this a try.
The first thing I did was outline what I thought would be the face of Iron Man. Once again remember that his face was a lot smaller with little room to work with.
Then comes the yellow. With painting his face, I just bought the clown makeup set from Walmart.
Adding in the red and going over some small spots with black.

His eyes were the hardest. He was a little scared I was going to get it in his eyes. Of course with an adult you would be able to get much closer to the eyes and fill in the blanks a little better.

Finished off with little white outlines and I was done. I’m quite proud of the way it turned out, and Nolan cannot wait for Halloween to be here to get his face painted again. Overall, he did amazing and sat still the entire time I was painting his face.

Living Life one day at a time

But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”

Joshua 24:15 Joshua 24:15

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

Colossians 3:23-24 Colossians 3:23-24

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Psalm 73:26 Psalm 73:26
