We have different outfits for different occasions. You need something that’s sweat
And when it comes to heading to work, the same principle applies. But the office environment is a little unusual: you can wear all kinds of outfits, as long as the clothes err on the side of profession. So now’s the time for you to get a little more creative with what you lay out from the wardrobe each night!
We can all agree that dressing right for work is important, but that doesn’t mean you can’t be comfortable at the same time! It’s why so many people wear a dress (be it a black one from https://serp.co/best/black-dress/ or in other styles) or other comfortable options after all. So in your pursuit of getting a little more casual and a little more cozy when you’re doing your best work, here’s a couple of tips to help you style yourself.

Have Something Comfortable to Wear, Always
Don’t have a pair of button up slacks that force you to crush your stomach all day, and make sure you’re not wearing anything that’s going to limit your ability to breathe or puff out from time to time. Make sure you have something that fits you
Get Something Soft But Form Fitting
When it comes to looking professional, you’re probably wearing sleek materials that make up a crisp and sophisticated piece that’d look out of place anywhere else. And because of this, it can be hard to substitute out your blouse or white shirt for something that’s going to be a bit more comfortable for your armpits to rest against! But that doesn’t mean it’s impossible.
Of course you could always find some blouses for women that are a big bigger, or made of a softer material that’s going to keep your comfy when at your desk, but you don’t have to stop there. You can put a nice jacket over the top, and anything leather works as long as there’s not too many zips, or you can forego this completely and get a nice pastel t-shirt you can cover with a light coloured blazer or cardigan. Anything that’s going to keep you professional whilst you stay comfortable and cozy!
Jeans Work When They’re Dark!
If you’ve got a pair of jeans you’d love to just saunter into work with, make sure they’re both dark wash and have been pressed the night before! Black jeans can fit in anywhere, as well as dark greys, and blues that don’t show off too much of the denim material. And hey, jeans are always going to be comfortable when they’re mid rise with an ankle that fits either in or around the boots you’re wearing!
Get Some Work Shorts and Tights to Wear
Your wardrobe probably has a professional section to it, and you rarely touch it except for work purposes. Well, now’s the time to add a little more of the weekend you to it, and add in some shorts options. Don’t worry, there won’t be any hotpants here; you’ve just got to find something with a bow or ties on the front, and have it in black.
Skirts can be difficult to move around properly in, and honestly, they’re a tired subject by now. So use some shorts instead; they’re usually cheaper and have more wear to them anyway! And when you put some tights on underneath it, you’re not going to be baring too much skin for any manager’s liking. So make sure you’ve got both thick and thin options here, for when the office gets hot in the summer and cold in the winter.
Ready to Dress Down?
It’s always nice to be able to be comfortable when you’re at work, and honestly, not enough people get the chance to be. Make sure that when you’re on your feet for an 8 hour shift, or when you’ve got a very sweaty five or so hours in front of a computer to get through, you’re feeling as much yourself as possible in clothes that’ll let you breathe.
