The time has come that we have all been patiently waiting for. A long three years and much anticipation for the new MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron movie. But first our house must get ready for this marvelous experience.
Not only is this a big day for my home but for my friends at work as well. We have all grown to love our super hero’s over the years but for some it has dated back to our childhood. My husband for one. Who would read all the MARVEL comics and could not be more thrilled about the characters coming to life on the big screen.
I had to make this day special for him so I decided to throw us a small welcome party for MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron. With that party came something amazing. Thor Dr Pepper Brownies. I headed off to Walmart and picked up every item I could find that was sharing the excitement with us and had the MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron plastered on the front to make our party a little more fun. Nolan ran around the store and when I would pick up something without “super hero’s” on the front he would tell me “NO mom that one won’t work for what were doing”. I couldn’t help but laugh at how excited he got.
One cool thing thing I did with Nolan while shopping for our party was downloading the Super Heroes Assemble app that’s available for both iTunes and Google Play store. With Super Heroes Assemble not only can you keep up to date with exclusive MARVEL’s Avengers: Age of Ultron content but also the latest movie and behind-the-scenes action and while shopping you can scan Avengers displays at Walmart and Walmart.com to become your favorite Avenger, explore a Hulkbuster training facility in a cool 360 degree interactive space and to bring your favorite MARVEL’S Avengers: Age of Ultron characters to life.
The real fun came in when I decided to make Thor Dr Pepper brownies. That right I said it: Thor Dr Pepper brownies. A fun and simple treat for us to get excited about.
Ingredients:
- 10 oz of Dr Pepper
- 1 egg
- Duncan Hines: milk chocolate brownies mix
- Pretzels sticks
- large marshmallows
I did not read comics when I was younger, but my eldest does and he's a comic nerd. He actually loves all the comic companies the same, but he's been totally geeking out over MARVEL lately. I wasn't at all interested in seeing any of the movies in the MARVEL line besides Iron Man, and then he made me sit and watch all of them over the course of the last month so that I could take him to see Age of Ultron when it came to theaters, and I was SHOCKED, but i LOVED ALL of the movies! Like LOVE LOVED. So now I'm hooked. 🙂 #client
