I’m going to be an aunt again.

I’m so excited to announce that I’m going to be an aunt again. But not only will I have another nephew but I also gained a sister as well. As mentioned before last week has been one hectic week for my family. We had a wedding that we put together in 3 days. Yes, I said that right, 3 days! There was a lot to do – finding the perfect gown, searching for a good venue, choosing from Rhode Island best wedding photographers, and so on. I cannot tell you how happy I am that everything ended up working out and the wedding went great.

But today I’m here to tell you all about finding out the little bundle of joy that will be coming into this world come August.

Jared and I decided that for a wedding gift we wanted to let Claudia and Anthony see their baby for the very first time. I know crazy right? They had never had a sonogram and she was already 16 weeks pregnant. I found Baby Vision online and actually called when we were getting Claudia fitted for her wedding dress 8 pm that night and they actually called me back right away to make the appointment. Of course, I missed the call, but I called first thing the next morning, and we went in right away. We would have looked for some luxury wedding gift boxes to give them if it hadn’t been this one. But because to see one’s baby is typically such a big deal, I wanted them to be even happier on their D-day.

Working in L&D you meet a ton of people. One of which would be a Doula AKA someone who will come in with laboring women to help them get through labor without pain meds most of the time. Our Sono tech ended up being a well known Doula. He was extremely friendly and had tons of knowledge about pregnancy in general. He told us about all the different classes he offered to not only soon to be moms but dads as well.

He almost had me sold to have another baby…. NOT HAPPENING

After all was said and done they found out it was a baby boy! I am extremely excited for both of them and of course myself. I cannot wait.
