No Bake SNICKERS® Cheese Cake

big game, cheese cake, no bake, recipe, recipes, skittles, snickers January 5, 2015

It’s that time of year again when the Big game tends to be all your friends talk about. Ok, my friends talk about. My husband and I love getting together with our friends to watch the big game. Since now having kids (3 kids) means we can’t be there in person, we love to do a little home-gating ourselves. This year I have decided to get a little creative an make a SNICKERS® No Bake Cheese Cake. Something that is quick, easy and extraordinarily delicious.

Something that I want to share with you so when it’s time for you to have your own home-gating party you will have something fun to make that everyone will love.

16 oz Cool Whip
SNICKERS
Graham Cracker Pie Crust
18 oz Philadelphia original Cream Cheese
1 or 2 Table Spoons of Condensed Milk
1 Cup of Powdered Sugar
1/2 a Lemon

Directions:
  • First you want to put your SNICKERS into the fridge and let them get cold but not frozen.
  • Start with the Cream Cheese: add it to the bowl and mix until soft.
  • Add Cool Whip, sugar, condensed milk, and lemon. Blend well until everything is smooth.
  • Next take out your SNICKERS and either cut them into tiny pieces or you can use your Nurtri-Bullet.
Jared was so excited to get to do this. He just got his Nutri-Bullet for Christmas and I’m sure that might be one of the only reasons he wanted to help me with this. And boy did he help.  He completely took over.
  • Now that you’ve cut up your SNICKERS you will add it to you mix. Do not over blend.
  • You are now ready to add to your crust. After adding to crust put back into the fridge for a minimum of one hour.
See easy, fun and just wait till you taste it. Your cheese cake will be the talk of the party, besides the Big Game!
Now if you are wanting to brighten up your party a little you can also make a fun Skittles® Cheese Cake as well.

With this cake I did not add any Skittles into the cake itself but by putting the Skittles all over the top of the cake, letting it sit for about 2 minutes an then pulling them off left not only a fun bright topping for the cake but also gave the Cheese Cake a hint of skittles flavor from the left over food dye from the Skittles. I then added Skittles around the top for a more fun decorative cake.

If you are interested in creating these fun cakes I bought all the ingredients from Walmart.

Do you have any fun, creative ideas for the Big Game? If so, leave me a comment and let me know what you will be doing.

Living Life one day at a time

But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”

Joshua 24:15 Joshua 24:15

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

Colossians 3:23-24 Colossians 3:23-24

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
