Campfire Kids Birthday Party!

birthday, birthday ideas, boys, camping, DIY, kids, outdoors, parenting, party December 15, 2014

Are you looking for a ideas for a kids birthday party and don’t want to through the same party theme that your neighbour just had?? For older kids, things are easier because you can simply ask them what they would like to do (a Nerf Party Oahu might be on the cards, for example), but for younger children, you might need to get creative. When your kids are young they can’t choose for themselves and you’re restricted by their physical abilities, so this is the way to go.
A Campfire Birthday
I don’t know one person who doesn’t love camping. Ok, maybe one and that would have to be my brother-in-law who has major allergies so he doesn’t count. Camping can have so many fun aspects to have fun with the family making it a great, fun and creative way to through a birthday party. Also, with many options available at stores like Tuff Stuff, you can even customize the birthday party to a fully-fledged camping birthday event. Your kids might really appreciate such efforts. You can do any of the things listed below or you can come up with your own creative ideas. You could even look up some water slide rentals in miami (or closer to where you live) and prop up an inflatable water slide to mimic the waterfalls in the wild. Maybe even if you have older children pop up a real tent in the back yard and have a sleep over. Fun right?

Camping wouldn’t be the same without the stunning wildlife. For some extra fun, get everyone to dress up as a wild animal you might find whilst camping. Some great options might include dressing up as a fox, a hedgehog, a rabbit or an owl! You can then theme their goody bags around this, so each kid gets to go home with their own campfire box of goodies personal to them.

A few of the things without which you absolutely can not go camping is roasting marshmallows and playing card games. For obvious reasons, however, fire and young children do not mix well, so you may need to melt the marshmallows for them. As for the card games, you can bring some Booster Boxes Pokmon Cards or something similar to them that can make the day more fun and exciting.

Don’t forget about breaking the tent open!

S’mores cupcakes to top off the dessert.
The hiker sign.

You can’t forget the birthday sign!

Living Life one day at a time

But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”

Joshua 24:15 Joshua 24:15

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

Colossians 3:23-24 Colossians 3:23-24

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Psalm 73:26 Psalm 73:26
