I for one love me some good quality makeup. I’m a huge fan of Merle Norman (maybe because I work there?) but… I have been trying to go cheep during the holidays to help save money for Christmas. I just so happened to come across this L.A. Colors stocking stuffer at Walgreens that I just could not pass it up. It had a fun look to it and colors that I normally do not wear. Plus it gave me a chance to see if I like fake lashes or not. Here is the final result. I actually like.
I realized later that night that I didn’t have a good photo of the eye shadow so yes while holding my daughter I took one more selfie to show off the eyes hours later. Not to bad I would say for it to have lasted so long and I do like the lashes by the way. But one thing as you can see from the photo below is that the lipstick did fade a little but still left some color.

I never though about makeup as a stocking stuffer before (besides adding a EOS lip balm into the stocking!) What a cute kit, I love that eye shadow on you <3

Okay so I tried on fake lashes in the spring, from a beauty subscription box I received. But they felt "heavy" on my eyelids. I am wondering if it was just those, or do all falsies feel heavy?
I think it's something you have to get use too. It was like that for a bit but it didn't last long.

The eye shadow and false lashes look really good on you, sad about the lipstick try marbella fever or heat they stay on all day with same intensity

This is such a great stocking filler. I look a bit much with eyelashes on because mine are quite long already. These look lovely and not too in your face though! love the gold eyeshadow!

Great idea, sometimes would think that make up is expensive but not with these options.
I see this brand everywhere, and I actually have tried their eyeshadows, and they sure do pack quite the punch for the affordable price! You look gorgeous! <3

Artificial lashes are sooo much fun! Do you think you'll wear them more, now that you've tried them out? 🙂 If so, Ardell's natural black 110 lashes (http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=7344) are awesome. They're similar to the ones you posted, and look super-natural (per the name).
