One of the first things people told me when pregnant is that my body will never be the same after children. I shrugged it off. I never thought anything of those words. But, boy oh boy were they right. I’ve struggled with my weight since my first son was born.
It seems I’m always on this journey of living healthy and working toward that body I will never have again. Now before you go all “your body is perfect as it is” or “your beautiful and shouldn’t let your body define you.” I get it; I’m not saying I hate my body! I’m saying that I want a better, healthier body. And that is my ultimate goal; to feel better, to look better, to be better.
Since having children, I’ve always gained the most weight in my stomach. I have what some might call a “mom gut, ” and when I get bloated I even get asked, “how far along are you?” So finding clothes that make me feel less pregnant and more beautiful is what I want. Because let’s be realistic. I have three children, I’m not spending hours in the gym every day (as much as I wish I could) I don’t have time for that. So my health journey is a long one but it is one I will accomplish.
For the time being, and probably even after (because I’m in love) I accomplish my goal, I will be turning to Hilary Davis and LuLaRoe.
Over the past week, I’ve been wearing a couple of my favorite pieces from LuLaRoe. This is what I’ve noticed.
I feel more comfortable in my own skin.
I’m in love with the fabric!
The fit is perfect for all women, both big and small and every shape imaginable.
With a piece here and there, I’m good for Church, the grocery store, and even a wedding. With a simple change in shoes can change the look drastically.
You can check out all of Hilary’s LuLaRoe pieces on her Facebook page as well as her Instagram. I’m now ready to fill my closet, and I’m sure you be too. Give one piece a try, and you will not want to turn back.
