BIG BIG THANK YOU!
Thank you to everyone who wanted to help us yesterday and for all those who were praying. As of right now both the husband and I are good. I will be stuck at home for a while and unable to workout. If you want to send a goodie bag you are more than welcome. (Just no food please)

Its’s 3:53 A.M. and I should be in bed getting some rest, but I just had to get out of bed. My body is aching, and I’m itching from the pain meds all over. I’ve been up every 2 hours, and I hate waking up Mama or the husband to help me to the bathroom. I’ve managed to get into the husband’s new chair, turn on the new Greys, pull out my computer and start writing. (I like to write when I’m bored)
As for yesterday. I had Gallbladder surgery, not random, I knew I needed it, but everything happened so fast and ended up with an emergency surgery. Let me give you a little background story. First, if you’re not sure what you’re Gallbladder does here is an article that can explain it much better than I could all ‘drugged up’ right now.
It started about 1.5 years ago Christmas Day at 7 p.m. I was eating the most delicious steak at a restaurant named Sumo here in San Antonio. When I tell you that the pain is worse than labor I am not kidding. A single attack would last me anywhere from 5 to 45 minutes, and the long ones were unbearable. When they first started, I ended up in the ER twice. They would run a test and send me home with some pain meds. They had told me it was probably my Gallbladder and to see a surgeon. At that time I had just started blogging full time and had no insurance. Jared was in-between jobs, and I just wasn’t sure when that appointment would happen.
Like any mom, wife, woman. I sucked it up. The attacks would come once every other month. Eventually every month, every two weeks, every week and then the last four days I was waking up in the middle of the night with an attack. Until yesterday. I woke up at 4 a.m. with the first. Then around 8:30 the next one came on, and they just didn’t stop.
There came the point where I just couldn’t take it. I was throwing up, sitting in the bathroom and so on. I did get a time of resting and each time I thought this attack would be my last and I could just go on with the rest of my day. I was wrong! Oh, so wrong.
With the husband busy at work, mom in Houston, sister at work and no answers from anyone else I decided to put Ryan down for a nap between attacks and try to get some rest.
That’s when my NEW friend Lizette came into the picture (she’s amazing). I hesitated to call her not because I didn’t think she would watch Ryan but because I knew she would. And me being the person that I am the last thing I wanted to do was throw my child at this amazing friend I just met and make her feel like I was “using” her in some way. (Is this coming out right? Sorry Lizette if it isn’t I’m a little out of it hahahah) Basically, She is the sweetest girl/friend ever, and I was able to drop her off. Plus I hate for people to see me when I’m sick. I just want the husband or my mama. 😃
I’m going to have to end this post here and come back to finish it…
TO BE CONTINUED.
~next post will have pictures 🤗🤗🤗
