Just last night, my sister and I were walking through a store and came across a variety of toys from our childhood. We couldn’t help but be amazed at how some of these items have stood the test of time. Board games, characters, dolls, you name a toy from your childhood, it was more than likely there. With all these toys bringing back so many fun childhood memories, I wanted to buy every single one of them. I wanted to feel nostalgic and remember all the times I had when I was a child. That feeling that I was experiencing is one that I wanted my kids to have. I want them to open their Christmas gifts and remember that feeling they get 20 years from now.
What better way to do that than to give them a toy even I played with when I was younger. A newer model of course. The Furby Connect. I remember receiving my first Furby and the thought process that went through my mind as I was learning what this toy could do. I wanted my children to experience the same thing. The excitement that came when the Furby talked in addition to the arguing with my brother as we tried to figure out what kind of animal it represented, I wanted those memories for my children as well. But of course I wanted them to figure it out on their own as well.
I was shocked to find out just how much fun the Furby Connect was to play with. Heck, I had just as much fun on the app, Furby Connect World, as my children did.
One of the boys favorite things about the Furby Connect is that it farts/burps after you feed it. I also love the fact that the more you play on the app, Furby Connect World the more your Furby Connect will learn. Everything from fun new songs to new words. It also talks back to you. I love how it greets you back when you say “hi.” With more than 1000 phrases you can have a full conversation with your Furby Connect. You may get a lot of his own hilarious “Furby Connect language” but all the more fun for the kids.
Let’s not forget that you can also put your Furby Connect to sleep. I love that it doesn’t have to be on the go 24/7 and you can make sleep by using these amazing/cute little night shades. I can’t tell you how many times I have been asleep and waking up thinking what is going on in my sons room only to find out that it was one of his toys going bonkers in the middle of the night.
Tonight (Saturday the 10th at 8 pm) I will be going Live on Facebook to share a little more about my Furby Connect. I really hope to see you there!
