Sitting down and looking over my calendar for the upcoming month, I realized that school is only weeks away. Where did time go people? I have so much that I want to do before school starts but on the other hand I’m quite excited.
The excitement I am talking about is the one where I know that I will be able to hear my own thoughts without some children’s song blasting in another room. Just some brutal honesty, don’t act like you aren’t ready! Sitting here thinking and dreaming about how quiet it will be, I also need to be preparing my little ones for school as well.
I decided to write a few things down that will help you. Things you might not have thought about. Aside from school supplies, meeting the teacher and a few things that are no brainers. That’s where P&G Household Needs from Costco come in handy.
First to tackle the hard thing. Cleaning out the children’s closet, washing all the new clothes and making sure things are easy to find when that first day of school is upon us.
Check out this mess. How did this happen? Oh yeah, summer happened! My bad…
The cleaning part wasn’t so bad. It’s tackling the laundry that always gets to me. That’s why I use Tide Advanced Power. Being the best for both whites and colors along with fighting stains, keeping everything smelling fresh it’s the best.
Now that cleaning and doing laundry is out of the way it’s time to move on to pulling out Tupperwear and making sure they are nice and clean ready to pack lunches.
In order to make sure everything is clean I like to use Dawn Platinum Advanced Power dishwashing liquid. Delivering the power of an overnight soak in just seconds it’s the only way to go.
Now that a few things are out of the way you can focus other things such as enjoying the last days of summer.
Don’t forget to stop by your local Costco store to get more bang for your buck when getting ready for back to school.
Are you ready? As excited as I am I think I will be a little sad when it comes to an end. What are some of your favorite things to do when preparing for school?
