Becoming a mom can be hard and stressful. With so many opinions and others wanting to chime in on how you should raise your children, it can get overwhelming. Well, I’m here to do just that. Chime in and give you a few tips that have helped me out over the past with my three children. I’m no pro, but I do have a few tip that could come of use to you and yours.
Babies tend to do this thing called cry. They cry A LOT! Crying is normal but sometimes, sometimes they cry because they have tummy aches. Here are a few tips to help keep momma, dad and baby happy.
~Five tips for new moms~
-Listen to your gut. Don’t listen to everyone else who thinks they know best, do what you feel you need to do. If that’s taking your child to the doctor, do it. Never second guess yourself and do what you feel is best.
-Be prepared with the right products such as Gerber® Soothe™ Solutions. Two, in particular, Gerber® Soothe Probiotics Colic Drops and Gerber® Good Start® Soothe Infant formula. Colic drops is a must and something I used with all three kids. Gerber® Soothe Probiotics Colic Drops is formulated with comforting probiotics L. reuteri which is a probiotic that is safe for infants. It has been clinically shown to significantly reduce crying time in colicky babies.
-Don’t be afraid to ask for help. The crying can be overwhelming. With everything being new don’t be afraid to call someone up and ask them to come over so you can have a nap. I know that sounds crazy but hey you need to keep your sanity.
-Make sure to get out of the house without the baby. You need some alone time even if it’s a quick trip to the store or a walk around the block. Clear your head and keep on going. Yes, your baby needs you but you also need you. Keep on going. Things get easier and easier, you got this!
Now I’m not trying to scare you with these few tips. To be clear, having a baby is the best thing you and your body can do. There will be more good days than bad but the bad will show up and I want you to be ready. I hope and wish you luck with your new found/made love with your baby.
~Don’t forget the Colic Drops. Trust me when I say they are a life saver.
