In Texas, you grow up knowing what BIG hair is. You learn at a young age or in your teens just how to make it in the world when it comes to fixing you hair the Texas way. That is if you have thin hair.
Every woman I know wishes for a particular type of hair. For me, I wish my hair was thinner, much thinner. I have tons of hair, and when I say tons, I mean tons. It’s curly and thicker than any other person I know. I hate it at times, and it never wants to do the things that I want it too. It takes more than an hour to do anything. Straighten, curl, blow dry, anything! I can’t cut it short because it won’t lay flat and if it’s not past my shoulders, I don’t like to wear it down because it just fro’s. Therefore, I have to keep it long so that when I do want/have time to fix it will lay flat and not look like a lion.
Today I wanted to try something different. I wanted to curl my hair and make it big. Texas BIG! And that’s just what I did. I have seen people do this many times to their hair, but I’ve never seen anyone with long, thick hair curl it like this. Probably because it takes way to long and no one want’s to sit in front of the mirror that long.
I did make a video just for you guys. I really did end up loving my hair the way it came out, but I also know that it did take more time than I wanted and I will probably never do it again. But until I figure out a faster way to get this big look this will have to do.
As I said in the video, you can always buy a smaller curler, and the one I got was from Target for only $17. What a steal right?
I hope you all enjoyed, and I can’t wait till next time.
