The sun is out and Spring is in full force. A mix of rain and sunshine here in Texas. It’s thunderstorms one day and sun shine the next. You never know what the good Lord will bring us. That being said I have an awesome Spring dinner recipe. There’s nothing like a good burger after a fun day at the park or even a rainy day to lighten up your day. What’s so special about this burger you ask? The Alexia Onion Rings. That’s right! High quality and versatility Alexia products that are made with all natural ingredients. Jared even liked them so much we’ve had them twice this week alone.
In our house, Spring time is full of adventurous fun and this year with me being a Wildside15 blogger we will be spending a lot of time at SeaWorld. This burger recipe is quick and easy. Its filling but surprisingly light and the onion rings are an incredible addition to the burger.
How do you make the PERFECT SPRINGTIME BURGER you ask???
Ingredients:
- Alexia Onion Rings
- Turkey meat formed into patties seasoned lightly with garlic salt and pepper
- Your favorite BBQ sauce
- Mayo &Mustard
- Kosher Dill pickles
- Peperjack Cheese
- Alexia Rosemary French Fires (they are to die for)
- Whole wheat burger bun made at the Walmart bakery or you can use a sourdough bun if you can find them.
Directions are in this short video below. It’s simple, fast and easy.
First you need your turkey patties to be cooked on the stove or grilled. (Optional) Warm up your bun in the oven at 350 for 4 minutes. Just enough to get the edges crispy. (Optional) Add your mayo and mustard first, then patty topped with pepper-jack cheese. Now the delicious part. Your burger will not be the same without the Alexia Onion Rings added next. Drizzle your favorite BBQ sauce on top of onion rings, throw your pickle on top and you’re ready to dig in. Now don’t forget your Alexia Rosemary French Fries to go on the side.
I could NOT believe my taste buds when I took my first bite. The onion rings were amazingly crispy and just made the burger what it is. Simply amazing.
There’s nothing like proving this doubter wrong when he was second guessing my creativity in the kitchen. As you can see, it looks like he almost licked the plate! And he is a picky eater.
Yum! A nice turkey burger, topped with a crispy Alexia onion ring, sounds like a great spring meal to enjoy after a day filled with family fun! #client
