My question to you is…. How do you do Christmas?
When it comes to buying gifts that is, do you just buy what you think the other person (kids, husband, family, ect.) wants? Or would you rather everyone make you a list and just buy what they want even if that means they already will know what they are getting?
How does my family do it?? We are in the process of figuring it out! My husbands family is huge, he is one of five children 4 of whom are married and 3 who have 2+ children. I believe 19 it is this year all together in one house for Christmas, so when my mother-n-law ask for a list I completely understand that one, that is a lot of shopping and probably very hard to keep up with, (one day I will get her secret).
My mom on the other hand just gets us things she thinks we want or will like, so you never know what will be under the tree, it is a complete and utter surprise. Just the way I like it.
Now of course I want to do it the way I grew up (with no list) and Jared wants to do it the way he grew up (with list)! What shall we do? I love the idea of picking out the perfect gift and him being so surprised that I remembered that he wanted that, or knew that he would love that… Ya Know?? I also do not like gift cards, I love giving and watching the look on peoples faces when they open there gifts (so much fun for me).
So what do you do????
